I implemented my innovative work succesfully on 17th january 2018.the work was named as "CHEM clock".it is to find the atomic number of elements upto 24 effectively.the work was a huge success..

Week 10( jan 14-jan18)

 This was the last week of teaching practice in B.N.V.V.H.S.S.during the final week i have done a lot of things in school in this week,I implemented my innovatuve work and innovative lesson plan succesfully.I executed  an awareness programme on the topic "soft drinks and health" by conducting a poster competition and quiz competition.During this week i have also done diagnostic test and remedial teaching .overall the teaching practice was considered to be an avaerage experience for me.

WEEK 9(jan 7 to11)

 This was the second last week of teaching practice.i think this was a better week for me.i had 2 observations on this week .i taught the topics allotropy and diamond from the chapter carbon and its compoubd from scert 9th std.the observations were a little bit better for me.i improved myself some of my teaching qualities.i was in a try to reach my maximum potential earlier i had.during this week i also implemented my yoga lesson plan on veerabhadrasana.that was an amazing session .now i am waiting for the last week

        Week 8(dec 31 to jan 5)

The school reopened after christmas holidays in this week.most of the students did not attend the classes held on this week.some of the days were holidays in this week  due to harthals and other strikes.i just  revised some topics during this week and also discussed the answers of chemistry and physics questions in christmas examination.totally this was a not a good week.

Week 4(Dec3-Dec7)

The fourth week of my teaching practice was ok for me.During the previous week i had two observations on tuesday and wednesday.

On tuesday i had class on 4th hour.I taught the topic "preparation of HCl"on that day by using activity method.In the begining of the class the students were attentive and calm.but after giving activity, the class was too disturbed and i was not able  to control the whole students.finally with first activity i finished my class by giving a follow up activity.I think it is difficult to control the  49 students by using activity method.after the class , my teacher gave so many instructions and feedback of my class.i think my class was below average because they even don't know a single letter from malayalam.so i was not able to teach well. 

The next observation was on wednesday .i taught the topic lens formula using advance organiser model.i use some models also to teach that topic.on that day my class room management was better and some of the students understood the topic.overall the teaching was good and i am satisfied .i cannot do anything more than this  in that class room. 

On friday i conducted the achievemnt test on the chapter "compounds of non metals".

Week 3 ( Nov 26-30)

The third week of teaching practice was not well for me.my teacher came for observation on monday. I taught the topic Haber process and identification of ammonium salts using ICT . I was unable to taught well. I didn't get a flow throughout my class. the students were disturbed due to there IT practical examinations.Teacher gave so many instructions to improve my teaching. 

                                            During this week i was able to taught the topic ray diagram from physics and from chemistry the contact process and properties of Sulphuric acid. I think most of the students were able to understood these topic.Some of the students in my classroom don't know even the letters they are always interrupting my class.But as a teacher i would  like to be patient in all situations.I wish myself have  a good next week.

Week 2 (Nov 19-24)

The second week of teaching practice was a little bit interesting for me.I went for peer observations with some of my colleagues .I started teaching 9 C both physics and chemistry during these five days.i had allotted 4 periods during this week. 2 for chemistry and 2 for physics.i taught the portions from the chapters compounds of metals from chemistry and refraction of light from physics. 

The lesson,  "preparation of ammonia" was taught by using an intersting model.i think it was so effective in my class room situation.Most of the pupil in the classroom understood the topic in a lucid way.

The lesson, "Lens " was taught by using some models .also the way of teaching was advance organiser model of teaching.pupil understood these topics too. 

During this week i was able to deliver some motivational stories of arunima sinha and karoly takacs.these were also effective too seek the attention of our students during teaching and learning session.

I think teaching during morning session was better than afternoon because the attitude of students during both the times were different.i am waiting for next week for understanding my students more and more.

Diary (week 1)(14th nov-16th nov)

The second phase of our teaching practice were started on the 14th november 2018.The school allotted for us was B.N.V.V.H.S.S thiruvallam.on the first day we met the school headmistress.she gave some information about the rules,regulations and discpline related to school.

The class allotted for me was 9 C,malayalam medium students, for teaching them both physics and chemistry.on the first day i went to class in first hour and introduce myself to the students and gave some motivational lecture.

On the second day i didn' have any periods so i went for observing class of my colleague jishnu.it was a nice experience for me.

On the third day i went to the 9C for taking physics in first hour .i was able to teach the topic 'total internal reflection' using some life related examples..the students were attentive in the class and they give some more examples related to the topic.i am totally satisfied with my first class and becomes happy .....
